Dr. Misra joined ShoulderMD over 2 years ago and has greatly enhanced the patient experience providing best practice techniques and consultations while maintaining the patient at the center of care. Dr. Misra has a unique passion for Sports Medicine that has enabled him to train internationally with renowned Internist Dr. James R. Andrews. He was selected as only a few Physicians to have been trained by a founding father of modern Sports Medicine.

Jay is a nationally certified nurse practitioner in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine at ShoulderMD. He works closely with Dr. Roache in clinic and surgery to oversee patient care. His care philosophy is based on building a partnership that promotes whole health and wellness. He is passionate about utilizing technology, integrating advances in telehealth, clinical education, and clinic procedures.
